WHAT TO BRING / THINGS TO REMEMBER
- Your ticket
- Your Oyster, contactless card or travelcard
- Your cash card / debit card / credit card. Wireless 2025 is cash free! Please keep it safe! All vendors will also accept mobile payment from both android and apple devices.
- Check out the latest weather before you leave for the event. Bring clothes for any weather eventuality – hat, sunglasses, rainwear, warm clothing, metal water bottles are not permitted.
- Bring ID if you look under 25 in order to be admitted to the festival. You will also need ID if you want to buy alcohol and look 25 or under.
- Medication is allowed if accompanied by doctors note/prescription. If you need to bring medication with you, you should bring a doctor’s note or a prescription. Please be understanding if we question what you’re bringing in as it is important to prevent drugs getting into the festival. Plus, tell your friends of any allergies you have.
- Photographic equipment is permitted provided that it is for personal non-commercial use only. Lenses must be less than 6 inches. **Please note, professional cameras and video / audio equipment are strictly prohibited.
- Empty reusable plastic bottles (up to 500ml) are allowed however coffee cups must be empty (and there are no metal bottles permitted).
- What you can and can’t bring
Please see below for list of items you cannot bring into the festival:
- You are not permitted to bring soft drinks or water into the event. You are permitted to bring empty plastic bottles up to 500ml in size to use at the refill water points inside the festival. Metal bottles are not permitted.
- Aerosols over 250ml
- Air Horns / megaphones
- Alcohol
- All gas canisters of any size (including nitrous oxide)
- Animals (other than registered hearing dogs or guide dogs)
- Any goods for unauthorised trading with unauthorised logos
- Anything that could reasonably be considered for use as a weapon including oversized lighters or any item which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person
- Audio recorders
- Bags larger than A4 size
- Balloons
- Blowtorches
- Cameras, film or video equipment. Lenses must be less than 6 inches. **Please note, professional cameras and video / audio equipment are strictly prohibited.
- Cans
- Catapults
- Chairs / stools / inflatable loungers / floor seating / shooting sticks
- Chinese / sky lanterns / paper lanterns
- Clothing/garments/items which promote cultural appropriation
- Cooking apparatus / cutlery
- Cool bags/boxes (large)
- Disposable vapes – Do not bring single-use disposable vapes. They pollute the environment and incorrect disposal of these can be hazardous at waste centres.
- Drinks of any size (sealed or unsealed)
- Drones and other flying devices
- Excessive amounts of food (i.e. more than for personal consumption)
- Face covering(s) or balaclavas
- Fireworks/pyrotechnics, flares/distress flares
- Flags with poles
- Food (small amounts for personal consumption permitted)
- Gazebos and parasols
- Gas cylinders/canisters
- Glass bottles, jars, containers (including glass makeup and perfume bottles)
- Liquids, gels or lotions (over 100ml)
- Illegal Substances (drugs) and legal highs, herbal highs, new psychoactive substances and unidentifiable substances – including Nitrous Oxide
- Laser pens
- Megaphones
- Metal drinking bottles
- Nitrous oxide and any items associated with the taking of NPS and NOS (including but not limited to balloons, whipped cream dispensers, water crackers / CO2 dispensers)
- Penknives
- Perfume and make up (over 100ml)
- Portable laser equipment and pens
- Professional cameras including professional camera equipment (e.g., camera stand, lenses, and selfie sticks)
- Selfie sticks
- Skateboards and rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, bicycles, and other personal motorized and non-motorized vehicles
- Sound systems (including personal speakers)
- Spray cans
- Umbrellas **small/folding umbrellas are permitted**
- Unauthorised professional film or video equipment, radios or walkie talkies
- Unauthorized solicitation or marketing materials (e.g., handbills, flyers, stickers)
- Unofficial tabards and reflective/high vis jackets
- Weapons
THE BELOW ITEMS ARE ALLOWED HOWEVER MUST COMPLY WITH THE BELOW POINTS:
Empty reusable plastic bottles (up to 500ml) are allowed however coffee cups must be empty (and there are no metal bottles permitted)

Cigarettes for personal use are allowed. However excessive amounts of cigarettes (ie. more than for personal consumption) will be confiscated. No tobacco/vape products will be sold on site.

ENTERING THE FESTIVAL
If you look under 21, we may ask you to prove your age. If you’re under 16 attending with a parent / guardian, we may ask them to prove they’re 18 or over.
BUYING ALCOHOL
A challenge 21 policy will be in place for all alcohol on site. If you look under 21, we will need ID from you or we cannot sell you a drink.
The only accepted proof of age documents are:
A Passport (Not a photocopy)
Driving Licence
A Proof of Age Card bearing a PASS hologram
A Ministry of Defence identity card
A National identity card issued by an EU member state
You can take snacks into the festival for your own consumption.
No drinks will be admitted on site. Empty reusable plastic bottles (up to 500ml) are allowed however, coffee cups must be empty (and there are no metal bottles permitted).
Please don’t bring any alcohol, glass or metal containers/bottles of any sort.
Wireless Festival is not suitable for young children. Children under 5 (aged 4 or below) are not permitted.
Children under 16 years old (aged 5 -15) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18 or over) at all times and will need a full-price ticket.
If you’re 16 or older you can attend on your own, please bring ID with you.
We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18’s on site.
Large bags are not permitted into the festival. There is no cloakroom or storage facilities for large bags. Bags must not be left at entrances, surrounding areas or with security/event staff. Abandoned items will be found and disposed of.
Once you have entered, there is a safe storage option for smaller items and bags.
We consider a small bag to be W21cm x H30cm x D8cm (A4 Size).
Bags will be searched on entry to the event. To avoid lengthy queues, please avoid bringing a bag.
Please note – you will also be searched at the entrance to the event which may include a full-body pat-down and/or use of hand-held metal detectors. Any item(s), which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, or which may cause danger or disruption to any other persons at the event, will be confiscated.
Please allow plenty of time to get into the event, for event entry procedures, ticket checks and searches.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience when entering the festival.
If you lose anything at Wireless, please go to the Lost Property tent as soon as possible to report/retrieve a missing item. Alternatively, if you have already left the festival, please contact fplostproperty@wavesltd.org who can help.
Please clearly describe the item you lost and provide your full contact details.
Strobe lighting/pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting/special effects may take place during some performances.
